Service Scope & Limits
Learn about the scope of Nomakkin's services and the legal, operational, jurisdictional, and data-access limits that may apply.
Service Scope & Limits
This page explains the general scope and limitations that apply to Nomakkin services, including screening, verification, professional investigations, case management, digital research, and related cross-border support.
Nomakkin provides services only within the boundaries of applicable law, the agreed scope of work, and the operational capabilities available for each engagement. Accepting a request does not mean that every requested method, source, jurisdiction, or outcome will be available.
Service limitations may vary depending on the country involved, the type of information requested, the client's legal authority, regulatory requirements, data availability, and the availability of appropriately qualified or licensed service providers.
No Law Enforcement Authority
Nomakkin is not a government, police, intelligence, or law enforcement authority and does not have powers of arrest, detention, search, seizure, compulsory disclosure, subpoena, or enforcement.
Any action requiring governmental, judicial, regulatory, or law enforcement authority remains the responsibility of the competent official body in the relevant jurisdiction.
Access to Information
Nomakkin research and verification services rely on information that may be accessed lawfully, including public sources, licensed databases, commercial information providers, information supplied by the client, and other sources that may legally be consulted.
Nomakkin does not have unrestricted or privileged access to government, banking, medical, telecommunications, private-account, or other protected records where access is restricted by law.
Certain information may be unavailable, incomplete, outdated, legally restricted, sealed, confidential, or otherwise inaccessible through lawful channels.
Prohibited Methods
Nomakkin does not use or authorize unlawful methods to obtain information. This includes hacking, unauthorized access to accounts or devices, interception of communications, unlawful impersonation, obtaining passwords or authentication codes, bypassing security controls, or accessing protected systems without lawful authority.
Nomakkin also does not conduct surveillance, tracking, monitoring, or information-gathering activities where the requested method would violate applicable law, privacy rights, or other legally protected interests.
What We Do Not Do
Nomakkin does not provide services or use methods that conflict with applicable law, privacy requirements, professional standards, or the legitimate rights of others.
Requests we do not undertake include unlawful hacking or account access, obtaining passwords or access codes, unlawful interception of communications, unlawful impersonation, stalking or unlawful tracking, blackmail, threats, harassment, unauthorized access to protected records, fabrication or manipulation of evidence, bribery, improper influence over officials, or any other unlawful method of obtaining information or affecting an outcome.
Nomakkin does not claim government or law enforcement powers and does not guarantee access to information that is legally restricted, confidential, sealed, or otherwise unavailable through lawful channels.
Where part of a request cannot be performed lawfully or responsibly, Nomakkin may decline that part of the request, narrow the scope, or propose a lawful alternative where appropriate.
No Guaranteed Outcome
Nomakkin undertakes to perform the agreed scope of work professionally, but does not guarantee that a particular person, asset, record, fact, document, adverse finding, or other specific result will be identified.
A properly completed search, screening, or investigation may produce no additional information. Findings may also be inconclusive because of source limitations, incomplete records, legal restrictions, unavailable data, or other circumstances outside Nomakkin's control.
The absence of a finding should not automatically be interpreted as proof that a particular fact or circumstance does or does not exist unless the nature of the source and methodology reasonably supports such a conclusion.
Accuracy and Source Limitations
Certain services rely on public records, commercial databases, third-party information providers, or other sources that are independent from Nomakkin. Although reasonable verification and cross-checking may be performed where appropriate, Nomakkin cannot guarantee that all external sources are complete, current, or free from error.
Where relevant, reports may identify source limitations, confidence levels, unresolved inconsistencies, or other factors that should be considered when interpreting the findings.
Third-Party Cooperation
Nomakkin cannot compel private individuals, companies, institutions, or other third parties to cooperate, respond to enquiries, provide documents, or disclose information unless a lawful process exists and is pursued through the competent authority or qualified professional.
A third party's refusal to cooperate, delay in responding, or inability to provide information may affect the timing, completeness, or outcome of an engagement.
Field Investigations
Where field activity is regulated or requires professional licensing, such work is performed through appropriately qualified or licensed providers where required by law.
Certain field activities may be unavailable in some jurisdictions or may require additional approvals, legal review, or procedural safeguards. Nomakkin may modify or decline any part of a request that cannot be performed lawfully.
Legal Services
Nomakkin services do not constitute legal advice or legal representation unless those services are separately provided by a lawyer or law firm properly licensed to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
Nomakkin may support information management, research, case coordination, or communication with legal advisers, but legal opinions, court representation, filings, and other reserved legal activities remain the responsibility of appropriately qualified legal professionals.
Security and Protection Services
Nomakkin does not directly perform regulated security or personal-protection activities where those activities require a separate license or authorization.
Where appropriate, such services may be coordinated through suitably licensed security providers. The provider performing the regulated activity remains responsible for operating within the scope of its own license and applicable law.
Jurisdictional Differences
Laws governing investigations, personal data, access to records, surveillance, screening, security activities, and related services vary significantly between jurisdictions.
A method or source that may be lawful and available in one country may be restricted or unavailable in another. Each engagement is therefore subject to the legal and regulatory requirements of the jurisdictions involved.
Timing and Operational Limits
Any timeframe provided for completing a service is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise. Completion may be affected by third-party response times, source availability, public holidays, regulatory processes, technical limitations, or other circumstances outside Nomakkin's reasonable control.
New information identified during an engagement may require additional research, jurisdictions, sources, or specialist work that falls outside the original scope. Material expansion of the agreed scope may require additional client approval.
Scope and Budget Limitations
Each engagement is performed according to the agreed scope of work, budget, and applicable service terms. Acceptance of an engagement does not automatically include additional jurisdictions, research methods, sources, third-party costs, or activities that were not included in the approved scope.
Where additional work or external costs become necessary, Nomakkin may request the client's approval before materially expanding the engagement.
Responsible Use of Findings
Reports and findings are provided for the lawful purpose for which the service was requested. Clients are responsible for using the information in accordance with applicable law, contractual restrictions, privacy requirements, and any limitations associated with the underlying data.
Findings should not be used automatically or in isolation to make decisions that materially affect another person's rights where applicable law requires human review, additional verification, notice, consent, or other procedural safeguards.
Requests We May Decline
Nomakkin does not accept requests whose purpose appears unlawful, requires prohibited methods, involves blackmail, threats, harassment, stalking, deliberate invasion of privacy, unlawful discrimination, evidence fabrication, or other conduct that conflicts with applicable law or professional standards.
Nomakkin may also decline a request where the client's identity, authority, lawful purpose, legal basis, or right to request the relevant processing cannot be reasonably established.
Right to Modify, Restrict, or Suspend an Engagement
Nomakkin reserves the right to refuse, suspend, narrow, or modify the scope of an engagement where new legal, regulatory, ethical, privacy, professional, or operational concerns arise during the course of the work.
Where a requested method cannot be used lawfully, Nomakkin may propose an alternative lawful approach where one is reasonably available and appropriate.
Emergency Situations
Nomakkin is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for police, ambulance, fire, civil-defense, or other competent public authorities.
Where there is an immediate threat to life or safety, an ongoing crime, or another situation requiring urgent intervention, the appropriate emergency service or competent authority in the relevant jurisdiction should be contacted directly.
Relationship with Service-Specific Terms
This page should be read together with Nomakkin's Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Consent & Authorization terms, and any proposal, statement of work, engagement letter, or service-specific agreement applicable to the relevant matter.
Where a particular service is subject to additional limits or requirements, those terms apply alongside the general limitations described on this page.
