Pre-Marriage Background Check

Pre-marriage background verification covering identity, history, reputation, financial indicators, and relevant risk factors for better-informed decisions.

Scope of Work

The Pre-Marriage Background Check provides a structured, multi-layer review based on the country and place of residence of the person being assessed. The scope may combine identity verification, legally accessible records, professional and reputation research, financial and social risk indicators, and lawful field verification where appropriate, with the objective of developing a clearer and more complete picture before a formal commitment is made.

The review may begin with verification of legal and professional background, including relevant court or dispute information where legally accessible, employment history, professional stability, financial obligations, and other factors that may reasonably affect long-term stability. Reputation and general conduct indicators may also be assessed through appropriate independent sources and publicly or lawfully accessible information.

Depending on the agreed scope, the assessment may also consider relevant social and family background, close relationships, lifestyle indicators, financial patterns, and other information that may materially affect the overall risk profile. Where justified and legally permitted, limited field verification in public settings or structured interviews may also be used. Any review of telecommunications, device information, private communications, or restricted records is conducted only where lawfully accessible and appropriately authorized.

Requirements

To begin, we require accurate identifying information about the person being assessed, including current employer where known, job title, and current place of residence. A clear copy of the national identification document should also be provided where available. For individuals residing outside Egypt, passport and residency information may also be requested where relevant to the verification scope. Documents should be uploaded securely through your Nomakkin account as part of the service request.

Please also provide the person's current phone number and any other known contact details, together with information they have shared regarding education, employment, financial position, family circumstances, or other relevant background. If there are specific concerns or questions you would like the assessment to address, these should be clearly identified when submitting the request. More complete and accurate information can help improve the efficiency and precision of the review.

Estimated Timeline

The estimated timeline depends on the scope of the assessment, the number of verification layers required, the country of residence, and the availability of reliable sources. Public holidays, response times from external sources, and jurisdiction-specific procedures may also affect completion times.

For Cairo, Alexandria, Dakahlia, and Damietta, the estimated timeline is approximately 3 to 7 business days. For other Egyptian governorates, the typical range is approximately 5 to 9 business days. For Egyptians residing in GCC countries, the estimated timeline is approximately 7 to 12 business days. In Türkiye, approximately 8 to 14 business days. In Europe, approximately 10 to 16 business days. For the United States and Canada, the process may take approximately 12 to 21 business days due to differences in available sources and verification procedures.

All timelines are indicative and may increase or decrease depending on the circumstances of the case and the availability of relevant information.
