Missing Children Search
Specialized tracing and field investigation to reconstruct movements, identify leads, and support efforts to locate a missing child.
Response Framework
Nomakkin launched a specialized Missing Children Search service in March 2026 to support urgent missing-child and suspected parental abduction cases through coordinated investigative, field, and technical resources. The service may support cases involving accidental disappearance, family disputes, suspected parental abduction, or situations where there are credible indications that a child may have been moved outside Egypt.
Depending on the circumstances and available legal authorization, the response may include rapid field deployment, review of available surveillance footage, reconstruction of the child's last confirmed movements, analysis of relevant digital information, and coordination of specialist resources such as K9 teams where appropriate. Any review of telecommunications, device information, or restricted records is conducted only where lawfully accessible and properly authorized.
The investigation may also include lawful field inquiries at relevant locations such as hospitals, transportation hubs, residential areas, or other places connected to the child's last known movements. Where official intervention is required, Nomakkin may support the preparation and organization of relevant information for qualified legal professionals and competent authorities. In cross-border cases, appropriate local professionals or international partners may be coordinated to support lawful tracing and case management.
Requirements
Because time can be critical in missing-child cases, we require a recent and clear photograph of the child, full identifying information, the last confirmed location, and the approximate time the child was last seen. Where available, a copy of the child's birth certificate and passport should also be provided, together with information about any person who may be relevant to the disappearance, including a parent or family member involved in an existing custody dispute.
Please also provide any known phone numbers, devices, digital accounts, transportation details, previous threats, custody-related information, or other circumstances that may help establish the child's likely movements. Even information that initially appears minor may help the team identify useful leads and prioritize the search.
Estimated Timeline
Missing-child cases are treated as time-sensitive. Subject to team availability, location, legal requirements, and the information provided, initial assessment and deployment planning may begin within several hours after the request has been reviewed and accepted.
For cases within Cairo or other Egyptian governorates, the first 24 to 72 hours are typically treated as the most intensive initial search period. Cross-border or suspected international parental abduction cases may require approximately 7 to 15 business days or longer for tracing, legal coordination, and engagement with relevant professionals or authorities in the jurisdictions involved.
Timelines are indicative only. Search activity and follow-up may continue beyond the initial period depending on the circumstances, available leads, and decisions made by the family and relevant authorities.
Service Fees
Pricing depends on the nature of the case, geographic search area, urgency, required field resources, potential K9 deployment, and whether international coordination is necessary. Where there are credible security concerns affecting other family members, additional protective security services may also be coordinated through appropriately licensed providers where available and legally permitted.
